Attorneys, legal assistants, and investigators must get a pass to meet with a client who is incarcerated at a NYC Department of Correction (DOC) facility.
Attorneys who possess a Unified Court System Attorney Secure Pass do not need a separate pass from DOC. All others must complete a DOC pass application.
A $5 fee will be applied for each pass issued. Payment may be made only with a U.S. Postal money order, payable to The New York City Department of Correction. The completed DOC pass application and payment must be submitted in person to:

The office accepts applications on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:30 AM to 12 PM.
