The Energy Cost Savings Program (ECSP) helps businesses save money on electricity and gas.

The program offers rebates of up to:

  • 45 percent on regulated electric costs
  • 35 percent on regulated natural gas costs

To be eligible, your business must be:

  • A non-retail commercial or industrial business
  • In or moving to the five boroughs, but not Manhattan South of 96th Street
  • In a newly constructed or renovated building

Strict filing deadlines apply.

These businesses are not eligible:

  • Hotels
  • Hospitals
  • Retail businesses
  • Personnel services firms
  • Public benefit corporations

The Industrial Business Zone Relocation Tax Credit helps businesses move to certain parts of New York City.

To be eligible, your business must be:

  • A manufacturing firm
  • Moving to an Industrial Business Zone in New York City

The credit:

  • Is available one-time only
  • Covers eligible moving costs
  • Is up to $1,000 per full-time employee or $100,000, whichever is lower
