The New York Cares Coat Drive officially launched on November 1 and runs through February 29, 2025.
You can donate towards the cost of purchasing a new coat.
You can also use the Coat Drive Drop-Off map to find a public collection site near you accepting new or gently used coats. New locations are added to the map on a rolling basis. Make sure to launder or dry clean used coats before donating them.
Homeless shelters, community organizations, and groups assisting people in need will distribute the coats.
